▶ PLATEER Wins Biggest ITSM Project Ever...Establishment of a global standard system based on JSM and GitLab
▶ Expect to accelerate digital transformation in the financial sector, including overall work efficiency and improved customer service quality

PLATEER (CEO Sanghoon Lee), a digital platform solution company, announced on the 26th that it has won Koscom's IT Service Management (ITSM) and shape management system re-establishment project.

ITSM is a solution that improves work efficiency and service quality by systematically managing IT services from planning, operation, and improvement. In particular, in the financial sector that requires stability and reliability, the introduction of ITSM that meets global standards is evaluated as the key to strengthening competitiveness.

In this trend, Koscom, which provides IT infrastructure and solutions for securities, derivatives markets, and financial and investment industries, is drawing attention as it promotes a project to "rebuild ITSM and shape management systems" with PLATEER. It is the largest-ever order in the PLATEER digital transformation business sector and has an important significance in entering financial public institutions. The goal is to improve operational stability and service quality through the establishment of a global standard-based ITSM system and the introduction of a GitLab-based shape management and knowledge and communication management system.

PLATEER is a company with the most successful ITSM project cases in Korea based on Atlassian's Jira Service Management (JSM), a "leading company in the enterprise service management sector" selected by Forrester, a global research institute. It has a rich experience and a group of top-notch engineers in Korea, and based on this expertise, it received positive reviews in its task performance ability and took responsibility for leading the project successfully.

Starting with consulting for eight months, PLATEER plans to rebuild ITSM and shape management systems including migration, and stabilize the system. Based on JSM, which is recognized as a global standard, it plans to build a system in connection with shape management solution GitLab. In addition, various additional functions that are not provided by JSM, such as linking DevOps systems and custom dashboards, will be developed and applied to effectively link with existing ITSM systems and enhance convenience of use. In addition, it plans to create an environment for knowledge management and collaboration through Confluence and support stable operation.

A Koscom official said, "Through this project with PLATEER, we expect to strengthen the efficiency and service quality of the work process by establishing ITSM and shape management systems that meet global standards."

Ryu Sung-hyun, head of PLATEER's DT technology division, said, "It is essential to secure an advanced ITSM system to strategically manage the rapidly increasing IT-related work in the digital transformation era. We will successfully carry out the Coscom project based on PLATEER's expertise verified through the largest number of cases of establishing JSM-based ITSM systems in Korea."

Meanwhile, PLATEER is Atlassian's first and largest platinum partner in Korea and is building a collaboration platform for developers and companies using Atlassian's representative solutions. In particular, it is recognized as the No. 1 company in the field of ITSM system construction by carrying out projects for various customers such as Samsung SDS, Lotte Duty Free, Samsung Well Story, and GS Retail.
