"Since its listing, the company has invested more than 10 billion won in software development, and results have been revealed since this year. In an interview with The Bell, CEO of Sanghoon Lee PLATEER, said, "The results of the new business are becoming visible." In addition to the traditional System Integration (SI) business model, the company plans to diversify its scope to sell software licenses and further increase its natural competitiveness based on AI.
◇ Jump to become a specialized e-commerce platform company
The establishment of PLATEER was not smooth. Sanghoon Lee, who started his career at Hyundai Information Technology, an IT service arm of Hyundai Group, continued his career by working at a company that was conducting a web platform construction business. However, the company that he was working for faced with financial difficulties in 2005, and his colleagues asked him to start a business, and he founded "SIS4U I&C" after much consideration.
CEO Lee recalled, "I was pushed back and did it in a mess. I was also burdened." Even though he did not start his own business because he wanted to, CEO Lee has successfully grown the company. As the e-commerce market grew, large and small companies flourished, but PLATEER overcame the competition.
