PLATEER Completed Construction of Test Automation System for Korea's leading fire insurance companies

PLATEER (CEO Sanghoon Lee), a digital platform solution company, announced on the 15th that it has completed the "test automation system construction project" of S fire insurance company, Korea's leading company, to create a stable test environment based on compliance.

The goal of this project is to establish a test automation system with high quality and stability while complying with the Financial Supervisory Service's "Program Control Guidelines" and to minimize the possibility of failure when changing major business-related applications of the insurance company.

The reason why many companies adopt test automation systems is to automate the creation and maintenance of test cases to predict and analyze bugs faster and more precisely. This can greatly reduce manpower and resource input while increasing the speed and quality of software development. In particular, since the financial service industry should consider security and regulatory compliance as important, it should adopt solutions with stability to reduce costs and optimize resources.

PLATEER successfully completed the S-Fire project by building an end-to-end test automation system based on Tricentis' test automation tool, "Tosca." Tosca is a no-code-based solution that allows even non-developers to easily create test cases without coding. Because you don't have to write codes one by one, test preparation time is shortened, and maintenance is easy because intuitive access is possible even when modifying or updating. Team collaboration also has strengths. Consistency is maintained and collaboration is strengthened because non-developers and developers can cooperate with the same tool. Based on these advantages, we built a support server that works with 'Jira Software', an issue and project management tool of Atlasian, and integrated the scheduling and test reporting functions of test automation with Jira to greatly improve the efficiency and convenience of the project.
